Yes moms, dads, and teachers alike, it is that time of the year again - back to school! While moms and dads typically find this to be the most wonderful time of the year, teachers can have a different perspective of August. However, I am one of those weird people that crave routines and a sense of purpose so back to school for me is exciting and refreshing!
That being said, I'm also EXHAUSTED! I have now shifted from a 7:30 wake up time to a 5 am wake up time am going ALL day long. But, that's okay because the "going" is giving me so much joy! How am I still fitting everything in? Carefully crated and diligently maintained to do lists and lots of planning! Here are all the wonderful things I'm fitting in my daily life:
Meal Planning:
As you read in previous posts, I use Sundays to prepare for the week. My goal for each week is to try one new recipe and to find breakfasts and snacks I can make in bulk for each day. This week I made two dozen Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Muffins for breakfasts and made one of my favorite salads EVER, Grape, Avocado & Arugula Salad. Check out these recipes in the recipe section -- they are awesome, healthy and EASY!!
Fitness Plan
I have completed my 90 day Les Mills Pump program! I will be posting a full review of the program and my results later this week :) Because I have finished my program, I have a week of just marathon training this week before I start PiYo next week. Here's my honest progress so far:
