The holidays are a time when we become absorbed with the busy schedules they demand and indulge in the tasty treats they deliver. Don’t let those two things become a detriment to your healthy lifestyle!
While schedules do become busier, finding time for fitness becomes even more important because of the indulging we allow ourselves to do.
Here are some tips on fitting in those important workouts:
- Wake up an hour earlier (seriously, it’s just an hour and that tossing and turning in bed won’t burn as many calories)
- Find a success partner who’s committed to keeping you accountable – even a virtual one!
- Find workouts that you enjoy, not loathe! No one is going to stick to a workout routine that they dread.
- Identify you “why” – when you have a solid, soul-burning reason for staying in shape (being a role model for your kids, getting healthy so you’ll feel better, etc.), you’ll stick to it!
