While I’ve been using the Extreme Countdown to Competition meal plan (more on that in a minute), I have stuck with my Insanity Max: 30 workouts. I didn’t want to take a break in the middle of the program and truly love the competition with myself to max out each time. I haven’t taken any new measurements, but I can already tell a huge difference in my body! My clothes are fitting looser around my midsection, hips and legs. This is huge for me because it is the hardest place for me to lose the jiggle! I am also seeing a significant change in my strength and endurance during the workouts.
Brian and I are both creatures of habit and don’t mind repeating meals throughout the week, so our meal plans are pretty basic. I’ve also found that repetitive meals allow for me to buy in bulk and save money on our weekly grocery bill. I am making the Beef & Squash Stew at the beginning of the week to have it available for busy week nights and I have bought frozen turkey burgers (on sale!) that are easy for us to pop on the grill with some creative seasonings.
I’m so thrilled to begin week 4 with Insanity Max: 30 workouts and week 2 with 21 Day Fix Extreme nutrition and cannot wait to see the next level of results! If you are interested in joining a motivating challenge group or want to work with me to find the right workout and nutrition plan for you, let’s chat!
